Christine Quinn for janitor
Unless Christine Quinn and the city council restores the term limits for mayor that was put in effect by a democratic vote -- she will NOT get my vote. the other year the coucil robbed us and overturned the term limit in a deal where Bloomberg will obviously endorse her. That is corruption by what is considered a legal process. Quinn will NOT get my vote.

an overpriced rental homeaway.com p235104
"comforable, but falls short"

a place with great staff and potential on a wonderful beach with great restaurants. but it fell short.
in all other homeaway rentals i have always gotten basic provisions. every place will come with most of basic spices (at least salt!), paper towels. dish soap. nothing! and no automatic dishwasher.
stay here if you just the wifi? really wasn't. if you huddle against the courtyard wall of the apartment you get a signal that fades in and out and is of low quality (forget video streaming!) i have all new equipment (new laptop, smartphone, tablet computer) and all got poor signal reception. just enough wifi to advertise that there is wifi.
this place lists paper towels as an amenity; that should have been my first clue in how little comes with. and then: no paper towels! shame! instructions say you get a car-gate remote control, but you don't and have to chase down to get your car out. harsh low-wattage lighting.
the staff -- from the manager to each and every person, was friendly and helpful. the hotel next door has kitchenettes and is actually slightly cheaper per day and has a nice on-site, on-beach restaurant. never again.
was worth about 2/3 the rental rate.
